MAAE Program

The Master of Art in Art Education (MAAE) program is designed for teachers, museum educators, artists, and other art professionals who are seeking to acquire or improve skills as effective arts educators and agents of change. The individualized curriculum provides a foundation in critical theory and practice for teaching and interpreting art and visual culture, developing arts-based curricula, and creating educational arts programming in a variety of contexts including museums, cultural institutions, community-based organizations, schools, and alternative settings.
