About Me:
I am a first year student in the MAAE program. In addition, I am a full-time Chicago Public School Art Teacher at Benito Juarez Community Academy in Chicago's Pilsen neighborhood. I grew up and live in Pilsen and love what I do. I've been teaching for 15 years(14 @ Juarez!) All are welcome to visit me and my students.
Activities and interests:
Martial arts/self-defense & crossfit when I have time, I love to try different foods and drinks from other countries/cultures. I also like to check out galleries and art museums. I am interested in establishing relationships with community focused individuals who have a desire in creating a space where the arts and art making practices are accessible to everyone.
